Summer On The Job Training

We are excited to offer a Summer On-The-Job Training experience this year working at Wesley Chapel Parks and Recreation as a JR Associate Park Attendant.

Group Size:  10   Age:  16 – 22. Workdays:  June 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 2022 Work Hours:  8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Pay rate: $13.00/hour. JR Park Attendant will assist recreation leadership working at a county recreation complex or summer recreation program site.

Duties will consist of working with a group of children (ages 5-13) daily, ensuring safety, assisting various games, sports, crafts, drama, music, and recreational activities, as well as daily facility maintenance.  Performs related work as required.  Candidates must have recreational skills and leadership ability. Ability to assist lead various games, sports, crafts, drama, music, and recreational activities. Ability to perform daily facility maintenance.

Youth Work Readiness Training offered for this On-The-Job Training – Along with the Park OJT, we are pleased to offer Youth Work Readiness Training so that candidates are well-equipped before reporting to their job at the Park OJT.  Training Session Dates:  May 31, June 1, 2, 3, 2022.  Training Hours:  8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.  Training Location:  Wesley Chapel Parks and Recreation Complex.
